Whoa, that was deep... It was also quite inspiring to see all those animated faces, and that character is definitely one I feel sympathy for.

If you want a software suggestion, I use Blender, which I am still honestly quite surprised it is free to use.
If it were to be an actual video game, though, Unity or Godot are professional software, and Construct for a more visual-scripting approach.

I really love how it actually looks like a video game. It'd be a pretty cool one if it were. The animation was also good, the voices were entertaining, and the music was pretty catchy, to mention all the other qualities.
