My favorite sword type? That's tricky... I like a good balance of lightweight, durability, sharpness, and range. It has to be easy to hold with one hand, and to have good speed and strength. Good range, as mentioned, so the user doesn't have to get uncomfortably close to their target.

My favorites might be a little too obvious, but it's either gold or diamond. Gold because of how grand it looks, and diamond for the same reason, and also for how hard it is.

Seriously, you should look into making more games with your pixel art being that good.
